Good afternoon, swim families!
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend despite the unseasonably cool and rainy weather. Here are a few updates and reminders for the upcoming week: 

1. 🏊♂️ PRACTICES
We do have practice tomorrow! Practices this week will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00–7:00 PM. There will be no practice on Friday due to Hempfield’s last day of school.
Coaches will continue adjusting lanes and groups as needed. Please check in with Coach Hannah if you have any questions.
This will also be our last week of evening practices.

2. 📆 Meet & Volunteer Declarations Are Open!
Please sign into your Swimtopia account (via computer or the mobile app) and click on each meet from the calendar page. There are two things you’ll need to complete for each meet: 

a. 🏊 Meet Signup / Attendance
Under the Attendance tab, click the “Meet Signup” button next to your swimmer(s)’ names to indicate whether they will be attending. Declarations must be completed at least one week prior to each meet.
If you already know your summer schedule, please declare now—you can always make updates later if needed.

b. 📋 Volunteer Assignments
At the bottom of each meet page, you’ll see a “Job Signup” button. Parents may sign up for multiple volunteer roles, and the app calendar will remind you of your commitments.
We kindly ask that each family complete at least four volunteer assignments throughout the season to help ensure meets and events run smoothly. 

3. 👚 Apparel Sales Reminders
a. Black Knight Invitational T-Shirts (6/13)
BKI t-shirts are available by presale only through THIS WEDNESDAY, 5/27. We’d love to see them throughout the Hempfield swimming community!

b. Team Store Closes 5/30
There are only 5 days left to order team apparel, including tees, shorts, sweatshirts, and more!

4. 🏊♂️ Stroke & Turn Training Clinic
Any parent interested in helping as a Stroke & Turn Judge this summer (who does not already hold a USA/YMCA officiating credential) is welcome to attend the Annual Stroke & Turn Zoom Clinic on May 31 from 6:00–8:00 PM.
