🎉Spirit Week :
There will be a different theme each day and the coaches will select one swimmer from each practice that displays the most spirit for a prize! Themes are as follows:

Monday, 7/13: 'Neon Day' - The brighter the better!
Tuesday, 7/14: 'Hawaiian Day' - Wear your best Hawaiian Shirt, Leis, Grass Skirts, etc!
Wednesday, 7/15: Hempfield Stingray Gear/ Swim for Brandon!
Thursday, 7/16: 'Olympics' - Think tracksuits, workout gear, medals, or represent your favorite country!
Friday, 7/17: 'Christmas in July' - Ideas include ugly sweaters, red and green, bells, hats - the more the better!

Swimmers can fundraise using the 2026 Swim for Brandon Donations link, then swim as many laps as they can during practice, and stay for team breakfast. 🍩
🏊♀️Why we fundraise: Help keep our registration fees low by offsetting team expenses!
🏅Funds raised in 2025 provided 4 summer swim scholarships, 20 new practice kickboards, team printer for meets, Junior coach support, and our graduating senior award.
🥇 Goal for 2026: Funding for scholarships, junior coaches, and a semi-automatic timing system!

Meet Schedule for this week:

🏊Tuesday 7/12- Home vs Skyline
-Arrive at 5:15 for 5:30 warm-up

- 🎓Senior night!! Help us honor our seniors with our traditional stingray honor tunnel before the meet starts!
- 🍦Popsicles will be provided for all swimmers who stick around to the completion of the meet!
- 🎁Coaches gifts: There will be a donation stand at the concession table or you can Venmo Alissa (ALPopalis)by Thursday

🏊Saturday 7/18- Division 1 meet at Skyline
Session 1 – 11 & Over (Age Groups: 12&U, 14&U, Open)
● Gates Open – 6:15 a.m.
● Warm-ups begin – 7:00 a.m. (10 minutes per team)
**Hempfield time will be announced on 7/16
● Timer’s Meeting – 8:30 a.m.
● Meet Start – 9:00 a.m.

Session 2 – 10 & Under (Age Groups: 10&U, 8&U)
● Warm-ups begin – 12:00 p.m. (10 minutes per team) **Hempfield time will be announced on 7/16 
● Coaches Meeting – 12:30 p.m.
● Timer’s Meeting – 1:00 p.m.
● Meet Start – 1:30 p.m

⏱️Volunteers: Each team is responsible for providing six timers total - (3) timers for the AM
session and three (3) timers for the PM session. 3 timers still needed! Timers get free admission

Meet Declarations!
Please remember to declare your swimmer's attendance in SwimTopia right now! .
- 🏆 Friday- All-leagues Relays @ New Holland - all swimmers are eligible to participate.
- ***Please use the LSSL Saturday sign up to indicate your willingness to participate in relays, even if your child has no individual qualifying times. Coaches will build as many relays as possible for Friday based on availability and times.
- 🏆 Saturday- LSSL championships @ New Holland - swimmers must have made the League qualifying cut to be eligible to swim Saturday. When you go to register, you will see which events your swimmer has qualified in. Qualifying times can be earned up through Divisionals.

🧾Invitational Billing:
Invoices for Willowood and Mannheim invites will be emailed out by tomorrow morning. Invoices for Divisionals and All-leagues will follow the day after those events. Please be on the look out if your swimmer(s) participated. We appreciate your prompt payment as we prepay for all invitationals!
